Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Set SD Card as Default Storage in Camera App in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

By default, the storage location in the Camera app in Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is set to device storage. However, you can set the SD card you have inserted into your phone as the default storage so that all pictures you have taken and videos you have recorded will be saved there. This will help you to avoid low device storage which can bring you some problems, moreover if you're the one who like to capture almost every single moment in your life into photos or videos.

How to set SD card as the default storage in the Camera app?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. Open the Camera app.
  2. Tap to view more detailed settings.
  3. Scroll down the screen, tap Storage location and then select SD card.
  4. The default storage in the Camera app has been set to the SD card.
