Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Enable and Use Flash Notification Feature in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

Flash notification is one of accessibility features available in Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that will let you set your phone to flash the camera light(it's located next to the rear camera) when receiving notifications or when alarms sound. This feature is basically designed for those who are deaf or have hearing impairment because light notification is more noticeable for them than the sound notification.

How to enable or disable the flash notification feature?
You can turn on or off this feature by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down to find Accessibility and then tap it.
FYI, if you have enabled the direct access feature and selected the accessibility option, you can quickly access the accessibility menu from any screen by pressing the Home key three times quickly to open up the direct access menu and then tap Accessibility.
  3. Tap Hearing.
  4. Tap the ON/OFF switch next to Flash notification to enable or disable this option. When the switch turns blue , means the flash notification feature is enabled and your phone will fire the camera light when you receive notifications or when alarms sound.

How to use the flash notification feature?
When this feature is enabled and you're receiving notifications, e.g., text messages, calls, etc., or when alarms sound, your phone will flash the camera light to notify you. If the easy mute feature is enabled, you can easily stop your phone from flashing by turning the device over.
