Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Disable Flipboard Briefing Page on Home Screen in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

In Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, the Flipboard briefing page is enabled by default and displayed in the leftmost panel of your home screen to let you easily read the summary of the news updates you're interested with in a single page. However, you can easily disable this feature when needed, as the example, if you want to simplify your home screen, if you're not interested in reading news update, etc.


How to disable the Flipboard briefing page on home screen?
You can remove this page from your home screen by using the following steps:
  1. On the home screen, pinch the screen using two fingers or long tap on an empty area to go to the edit screen.
  2. Swipe the screen from the left to the right to access the Flipboard briefing panel.
  3. Slide the ON/OFF switch at the top of the screen to the left disable the Flipboard briefing page on the home screen. When the switch turns white , means the Flipboard briefing page is disabled and will not be displayed in one of your home screen panels.
