Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: How to Export Contacts From Phone to SIM Card in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

When needed, you can easily export some or all contacts from phone to SIM card in your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, as the example: when you need to backup some important contacts saved in the device storage by copying them to your SIM card, when you want to copy contacts to other devices by using your SIM card, etc. But, you have to remember that since a SIM card only saves a name and a phone number in a single contact, other contact information may be lost when you export it to the SIM card.

How to export contacts from phone to SIM card?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. Open Contacts app.
  2. Tap More at the top right and then select Settings.
  3. Tap Import/Export contacts.
  4. Tap Export button.
  5. Tap SIM card.
  6. A pop up window will appear to inform you that the information in the name and phone number fields will be copied but some contact information may be lost when you export contacts to the SIM card. Tap Export button to continue exporting contacts.
  7. Select the required contacts you want to export to the SIM card and then tap Done button.
  8. A pop up window will appear to re-inform you that some contact information may be lost when you export contacts to the SIM card. Tap OK button to continue exporting contacts.
  9. The selected contacts will be copied from the device storage to the SIM card.
