Samsung Galaxy S4: How to Delete a Memo in S Memo App in Android 5.0.1 Lollipop

If needed, you can easily delete unused memos, either text or handwritten memos, in S Memo app. But, if the memo you want to delete is a locked memo, you have to unlock it first by entering the password before you can delete it.


How to delete a memo in S Memo app?
If the memo you want to delete is not secured with a password, you can easily delete the memo by using the following steps:
  1. Open S Memo app. All of your memos will be displayed here.
  2. To delete a single memo go to the step #3, while to delete multiple memos go to the step #4.
  3. Delete a single memo:
    • Long tap the required memo you want to delete and then select Delete.
    • Tap OK button.
    • The selected memo has been deleted.
  4. Delete multiple memos:
    • Tap the Menu key and then select Delete.
    • Select the required memos you want to delete.
    • Tap Delete button at the top right corner of the screen.
    • Tap OK button.
    • The selected memos have been deleted.


How to delete a locked memo?
If the memo you want to delete is secured with a password, you have to unlock it first before deleting it. You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. Open S Memo app. All of your memos will be displayed here and locked memos will have a padlock icon .
  2. Long tap the locked memo you want to delete and then select Unlock.
  3. Enter the password to unlock the selected memo and then tap OK button. If the password is correct, the selected memo will be unlocked.
  4. Now, long tap the memo you have just unlocked and then select Delete.
  5. Tap OK button.
  6. The selected memo has been deleted.
